Dua for Entering and Leaving the Toilet
Even the most routine daily moments have a small associated supplication in Islamic practice, reflecting the idea that remembrance of Allah is woven throughout the day, not limited to formal worship.
Wording
- Entering: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal khubthi wal khaba'ith' (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from male and female evil/unclean beings), said before entering
- Leaving: 'Ghufranak' (I seek Your forgiveness), said after leaving
These are said quietly (not aloud) given the nature of the setting, and are a small example of how Islamic practice integrates remembrance into ordinary, everyday actions.
